The problem with our lack of trust is our preoccupation with living in a world of illusion. The conversation in our head is not based in the Truth of life, it is based in our perception of life. We base our knowledge of life in various television documentaries, the newspapers, telenews, listening to strongly opinionated people who think they know everything, but know nothing of the Truth of life. The world of illusion is preoccupied with what it perceives is wrong in life. It looks through the lens of separation, seeking to blame and judge, to criticize and condemn. Illusion speaks of a grim future, the inevitability of death. Illusion is a decay that seeks to infect Truth.
The result is the erosion of our human trust. And in its own way, this is a decay in our expression of Truth, for a lack of trust is that very decay. So let’s look at Truth. What I am clearly saying is that in Truth, you can trust. That, of course, brings up another question; what is Truth? We are now approaching the very basis of life; either life on earth is random chance, such as science promotes, or life on earth is part of a grand design, such as religions promote. Or, life on earth fits in neither of those categories. Life on earth cannot be categorized by science or religion, because it is the expression of Principles that transcend both physical and religious laws.
In my experience of Awakening, those Principles were somehow etched into my consciousness. I became One with them, not in a way that I can explain, but in a way that was pure experience. I simply call them the Principles of Truth. One of those Principles clearly states; There is nothing outside of Self. In other words, life is holistic, Whole, One, and that as soon as you stray into the isolation of illusion you are in the place that all your deepest intuition tells you is a lie, that you are being deceived. With only a fraction of the picture, you find that you are unable to fully trust in life and, because you too are clothed in illusion, you find it impossible to trust in yourself.
The answer to the question Katrina asked is to trust in Self. You are not the flesh and blood of a body, nor are you the overwhelming illusion that seems to deny your Truth. You are a magnificent, metaphysical, multi-dimensional Being of Light. You are of an immortal design, living a life that spans the galaxies of dimension.
My questions to you Katrina are, can you surrender to your Truth? Can you find the capacity to trust in the Truth of Self? Can you ‘feel’ that within Self there is a design so very vast, so far beyond all illusions, that you can trust your inner feelings? Can you nurture those feelings of trust, building them into such a roaring fire that in perfect timing the flames of trust will consume and destroy all deceit until illusion is no more than a handful of cold ashes? That is all you are required to do! Trust is not based in hope, but in Truth, and you are that Truth. The only proof you will ever have of this is when you are Truth revealed.
